4 Personal Brand Assets
Recently I did some self-auditing and realized it was time for me to do a digital asset revamp on my brand. People often forget that you are your own personal brand FIRST and as we evolve so does our brand. It is important to take an audit of your digital brand assets and make sure your messaging is clear, consistent and cohesive across various touch points. So have you assessed your digital brand assets?
Your Resume: make sure it is updated, has a stand out format/design aesthetic and is concise. Need support enlist a resume writer for guidance.
Your Portfolio: Everyone should have receipts of their work regardless of the industry. Putting together a digital portfolio will support with your pitching efforts and also serve as constant reminders (to yourself) of your output.
Your Website: This is not mandatory for everyone, but it is a nice to have depending on your industry and the message you want to convey. It never hurts to direct someone to a website where they can learn more and take further actions (ie: book a service, book you to speak, etc).
Your Social Media Pages: Social media is the first place people check when they are trying to learn more about your brand so be mindful and intentional of the message you are sharing on your social platforms. Is it consistent to your brand and who you are? As a reminder, when thinking about social that goes beyond Instagram and Facebook. Have you updated your LinkedIn recently?
These are questions you need to ask yourself as you work to create or update your brand digital tools.
